Where the HSR is authorised to represent an independent contractor or a contractor's employee (under paragraph (e) of s 44(1) or s 48(1)) and the person agrees, the employer must allow the HSR to be present at a health and safety interview between the person and an inspector or the employer or its representative. Maximum penalty: 60 penalty units for an individual, 300 for a body corporate.
