Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004
Part 7: Representation of employees – Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004

Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s67-7: s 67(5) to (7) Allow attendance at a course the Authority determines

Where an employer refuses to let an HSR attend a course, or the two cannot agree on which course, the HSR may ask the Authority to set a specified course. The Authority's determination is in writing and must be made at least 14 days before that course starts. An employer who refuses, without reasonable excuse, to let the HSR attend a course so specified commits an offence: maximum fine 60 penalty units for an individual, 300 for a body corporate.
