Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s67-4-b: s 67(4)(b) Pay the costs of HSR training attendance

The employer must meet the costs connected with each HSR attending the initial and refresher courses. The duty extends to every cost associated with the HSR attending, not only the fee. Where a DWG spans more than one employer, those costs are shared equally unless the employers agree otherwise (s 68). The duty applies equally to deputy HSRs (s 57(3)).
