A person issued a PIN must comply with it where no inspector has been required to attend under s 63. In practice this means remedying the contravention, likely contravention, or the matters causing it, by the day the notice specifies (at least 8 days after issue). Maximum penalty: 500 penalty units for an individual, 2500 for a body corporate; this is an indictable offence that may be dealt with summarily.
