Negotiations for DWGs spanning several employers, including variations, must consider: (a) employee numbers at each workplace; (b) the nature of each kind of work done; (c) how many employees do the same or similar work or share similar arrangements, and how they are grouped; (d) where on site each kind of work is carried out; (e) the hazards present; (f) overtime and shift patterns; and (g) other languages spoken by employees. On a shared site these factors should be assessed across all participating employers, not employer by employer.
