Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s35-1-f: s 35(1)(f) Consult on proposed changes to workplaces, plant, substances or work conduct

An employer must, as far as reasonably practicable, consult affected employees when proposing changes that may affect their health or safety to: (i) a workplace it manages and controls; (ii) plant, substances or other things in use there; or (iii) how the work at that workplace is carried out, such as rosters, staffing and work methods. Maximum penalty for breaching s 35: 180 penalty units (individual) or 900 penalty units (body corporate).
