Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s126: s 126 Do not impersonate an inspector

Nobody other than an appointed inspector may, by any means, claim or pretend to be an inspector. Maximum penalty: 60 penalty units. Asking to see the photo identity card (s 96) is the practical check, since every genuine inspector must carry one and show it on request.
