Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s110-4: s 110(4) Comply with a non-disturbance notice

A person issued a non-disturbance notice must, unless they have a reasonable excuse, comply with it: stopping use, movement or interference with the specified plant, substance or thing, and keeping it and any specified area undisturbed for the period stated (no more than 7 days per notice). Failure is an indictable offence with a maximum fine of 500 penalty units for an individual, 2500 for a body corporate, though it may be heard summarily.
