Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s115-2-a: s 115(2)(a) Employee must give their employer a copy of an inspector's notice

An employee who is issued a non-disturbance, improvement or prohibition notice must give a copy to his or her employer as soon as possible. Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units for an individual, 25 for a body corporate. The employer, once it has the copy, then carries the duties in s 115(2)(b) to inform affected people, copy HSRs and display the notice.
