Light bulbs are shielded, coated or shatter resistant where exposed food, clean equipment, utensils, linens or unwrapped single-service articles are present (not needed in areas storing only unopened packages that broken glass cannot damage and that can be cleaned before opening), and heat lamps are shielded beyond the bulb so only its face is exposed. HVAC intake and exhaust vents do not contaminate food, contact surfaces, equipment or utensils. Electrocuting or stunning insect devices retain insects, are not placed over food preparation areas, and are installed so dead insects cannot fall or be thrown onto exposed food or clean items. Toilet rooms on the premises are fully enclosed with tight-fitting, self-closing doors (unless outside the establishment and not opening into it, such as mall facilities). Outer openings are protected against insects and rodents by filling gaps and holes, closed tight windows and solid, self-closing, tight doors, except where the establishment opens into a protected larger or attached structure or for designated emergency exits; openings kept open for ventilation, and temporary establishments without doors and windows, use 16 mesh screens, air curtains or other effective means unless pests are absent because of location or weather. Perimeter walls and roofs keep out weather, insects, rodents and other animals.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
