Refuse, recyclables and returnables are removed often enough to prevent odours and conditions that attract or harbour insects and rodents, using portable receptacles or transport vehicles built, maintained and operated according to law. Solid waste not disposed of through the sewer (grinders, pulpers) is recycled or disposed of at an approved public or private community facility, or at a lawful individual refuse facility such as a landfill or incinerator.
