At least one handwashing sink, enough for convenient use in preparation, dispensing and warewashing areas and not fewer than law requires, is provided (Pf); approved automatic handwashing facilities may substitute where at least one handwashing sink exists. At least one toilet and not fewer than law requires are provided, urinals substituted only as law allows. At least one service sink or curbed cleaning facility with a floor drain is provided for cleaning mops and disposing of mop water, and toilets and urinals are not used for that. Backflow of solids, liquids or gases into the water supply is prevented at every point of use, hose bibbs included, by an air gap or an approved backflow device (P); carbonators have an air gap or a vented dual check valve with a 100 mesh screen upstream of the carbonator and downstream of any copper (P).
