The permit holder provides a written employee illness policy, available on request (Pf), with procedures covering reporting and compliance duties of food employees, conditional employees and the person in charge and reporting to the regulatory authority for: illness symptoms (diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat with fever, jaundice, infected wounds or cuts); diagnosed illness from norovirus, hepatitis A, Shigella spp., typhoid fever, non-typhoidal Salmonella or Shiga toxin-producing E. coli; and exclusion or restriction and reinstatement once symptoms or disease resolve (Pf).
