NSW Food Regulation 2025
Part 8: seafood safety scheme and the NSW Shellfish Program (sections 121 to 149, Schedule 7) – NSW Food Regulation 2025

NSW Food Regulation 2025 129-130: Hold and keep current every Fisheries Management Act 1994 authorisation the seafood activities need, since the licence cannot be granted without it and may be suspended or cancelled if it lapses

What does 129-130 require?

The Food Authority must not license a seafood business unless the applicant holds any authorisation needed under the Fisheries Management Act 1994 (fishing licences, aquaculture permits and leases) for the activities applied for, and it may suspend or cancel the food licence if a relevant fisheries authorisation is suspended or cancelled.
