Chapter 8: CO2 for ventilation effectiveness is measured morning and afternoon at every location (near a supply diffuser for base building, in occupied space for whole building and tenancy, not 12:30 to 13:30) plus at each assessed plant room intake (8:00 to 18:00), with a logger of 20 to 3,000 ppm accurate to 50 ppm. PM10 is measured the same way with a light-scattering counter accurate to 8 %. Formaldehyde and TVOCs (whole building and tenancy only) are measured each morning between 8:00 and 12:30 by real-time instruments of the specified range, or by laboratory methods, one sample per floor, formaldehyde on DNPH cartridges analysed by HPLC-UV and TVOCs on charcoal and XAD-7 analysed by GC, with results converted to ppm. Carbon monoxide (base and whole building) is measured morning and afternoon within 3 m of each assessed outdoor air intake between 8:00 and 18:00 (extended from 17:30 in v3.1).
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
