7.4: water ratings include all water used to support the office: taps and sinks, air conditioning and other base building services such as cleaning and facade cleaning, services exclusively for office occupants such as showers and pools, metered fire system water whether used in emergencies or testing (unmetered fire water need not be included), water features and irrigation within the site unless mainly serving non-office uses, and toilets and washrooms serving offices. Water in tenant-exclusive spaces and unoccupied offices is always included; other spaces' water may be excluded only where outside coverage and properly metered, and exclusion meters must not carry required end uses. Water ratings are shown with and without purchased recycled water.
