Energy and Water for Offices Rules v5.2 – NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System

NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System EWO-5.3.3: Count after-hours air conditioning only from dated tenant requests

What does EWO-5.3.3 require?

5.3.3: after-hours air conditioning (AHAC) is added only where OTA hours set the Core Hours, and only from logs or correspondence showing the date, time and functional space of each tenant request; plant run-hour records, including records with evidence of after-hours occupation, are not acceptable. Requests overlapping Core Hours or the start-up period are removed, and if start-up length is unknown all AHAC in the hour before Core Hours is disregarded. A request with no stated duration, or a push-button run over one hour not requested or agreed, counts as one hour. A request applies only to the functional space requested, otherwise to the smallest affected space; a push-button serves one space unless the tenant confirms in writing. Separate requests serving zones within a space make those zones separate spaces, averaged where zone areas are unknown.
