A mail-order buyer of goods or specified rights may withdraw or cancel within eight days of receiving the goods, unless the seller displayed a special term on returns in the advertisement and, for electronic consumer contracts and the ordinance cases, also on the final order screen in a clearly legible place (Regulation Article 44); the buyer bears the return cost. Services are outside this return right. Mail order has no cooling-off as such; this legal return right is the default the seller can exclude only by proper display.
