The receiving administration promptly examines interference to or from its own assignments identified under Appendix 5 (9.50), using ITU-R Recommendations or agreed methods where the Regulations give none (9.50.1); within four months of the BR IFIC publication, or of dispatch for earth-station cases, it agrees or states its disagreement with the assignments on which it rests and suggestions for a solution, copying the Bureau (9.51, 9.51A, 9.52); not responding within the period in the Nos. 9.11 to 9.14 cases means being regarded as unaffected (9.52C). The parties then make every mutual effort to overcome difficulties, may ask for further information, communicate results to the Bureau, report modifications made to reach agreement, and may seek the Bureau's help on the level of acceptable interference (9.53 to 9.59).
