RR Chapter III: Coordination, notification and recording of frequency assignments – ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards

ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards RR12: RR Article 12: Seasonal planning of the HF bands allocated to broadcasting (5 900 to 26 100 kHz)

What does RR12 require?

HF broadcasting in these bands follows seasonal planning by coordination among administrations (or broadcasters they authorize) on principles of equal rights, efficient use and the minimum number of frequencies (12.1 to 12.14). Administrations submit projected schedules twice a year for Schedule A (last Sunday of March to last Sunday of October) and Schedule B, with Appendix 4 data, notify the Bureau if they cease HF broadcasting, should coordinate before submission and after the Tentative Schedules are published, and report changes resulting from coordination no later than two weeks before the season starts and further changes as quickly as possible (12.16 to 12.38).
