The Bureau returns incomplete notices and examines complete ones in order of receipt for conformity with the Table, with coordination and with plans, and for probability of interference where coordination could not be completed (11.27 to 11.39F). For the administration: a non-conforming assignment is recorded only on its undertaking to operate under No. 4.4 (11.36); an assignment agreed only for a set period may not be used beyond it on the strength of that recording (11.37.1); a notice resubmitted and recorded despite an unfavourable finding requires evidence of failed coordination efforts (11.41, 11.41.2), and should it actually cause harmful interference to the assignments behind that finding, the administration must eliminate the interference immediately on receiving a report, preferably in the Appendix 10 format, cooperating and exchanging data, with the Board able to cancel the recording (11.42, 11.42A); a change to a recorded, operating assignment must be brought into use within five years of notifying it (11.43A).
