RR Chapter III: Coordination, notification and recording of frequency assignments – ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards

ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards RR9.IIB: RR Article 9, Sub-Section IIB: Acknowledgement of receipt of a request for coordination

What does RR9.IIB require?

An administration receiving a coordination request under No. 9.29 acknowledges it within 30 days; without acknowledgement the requester sends a second request and after 15 more days may seek the Bureau's help, which sends its own request and then a 15-day reminder (9.45 to 9.47). An administration that still does not acknowledge is deemed to have undertaken not to complain of harmful interference from the assignment and that its own assignments will not interfere with it (9.48, 9.49).
