ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards RR9.IIA: RR Article 9, Sub-Section IIA: Requirement and request for coordination

What does RR9.IIA require?

Before notifying or bringing into use an assignment in any of the cases of Nos. 9.7 to 9.21 (GSO networks with other GSO networks; specific GSO earth stations and non-GSO FSS systems; BSS space stations in bands shared with terrestrial services; footnote-triggered coordination between non-GSO and GSO systems and with terrestrial services; earth stations whose coordination area reaches another country; terrestrial stations within an earth station's coordination area; agreement required by a footnote under No. 9.21), the administration must effect coordination with the administrations identified under Appendix 5 (9.6, 9.27). Requests go to the Bureau with Appendix 4 data for Nos. 9.7 to 9.14 and 9.21 (9.30), or directly to the identified administrations for earth-station cases under Nos. 9.15 to 9.19, with coordination-area diagrams (9.29, 9.31); adding bands or moving a GSO orbital position gets a new date of receipt (9.30); an administration left out or wrongly included says so within four months (9.41).
