The software requirements specification, produced in line with the project's policies and organized as its information management policies allow, states what the specified software is for (9.6.2) and its scope: the name of each software product to be delivered, what each will do, where it will be applied with its expected benefits, objectives and goals, and agreement with matching statements in any higher-level specification such as the SyRS (9.6.3).
