The StRS describes the proposed system at a high level, with operational features and no design detail: operational policies and constraints, a system description, operating modes, the user classes and other people involved, and the support environment, per Annex A (9.4.16); scenarios of the way users, operators and maintainers work with the system in the situations that matter, each with a unique name and number cited from the business processes (9.4.17); the detailed concepts for how the system is acquired, deployed, supported and retired (9.4.18); and, if relevant, the project's cost and schedule limits (9.4.19).
