ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148:2018 - Systems and Software Engineering - Requirements Engineering 9.4.2: 9.4.2 StRS content: stakeholder purpose, scope, overview and stakeholders

The stakeholder requirements specification, produced in line with the project's policies and organized as its information management policies allow, describes the organization-level reason and background for pursuing new or changed business and how the system will help meet business objectives (9.4.2); defines the business domain by name, the activities it spans and the scope of the new or modified system with the assumed activities it will support (9.4.3); describes the major internal divisions and external entities and their interrelation, preferably in a diagram (9.4.4); and lists the stakeholders or stakeholder classes and how they relate to the system's development and operation (9.4.5).
