ISO 37001:2016 10.1: 10.1 Nonconformity and corrective action
When a nonconformity arises, respond promptly: control and correct it and deal with its consequences; decide whether action is needed to remove its causes so it does not happen again or elsewhere, by reviewing it, finding its causes and checking whether similar nonconformities exist or could arise; carry out the action needed; check whether corrective action worked; and change the system if needed. Corrective action must match the effects of the nonconformity, and documented evidence is kept of what the nonconformities were, what was done and the results.
This control maps to 34 controls across 21 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
