ISO 26262:2018 - Functional Safety for Road Vehicles 11:5.5: 5.5 Sensors and transducers

Sensors and transducers convert physical quantities to electrical signals and back, with failure modes covering the sensing element, the signal conditioning and the interface (offset, gain, drift, stuck signals, noise, loss of signal), safety analysis for sensors including the physical and electrical parts, examples of safety measures (redundant sensing elements, plausibility and range checks, self-test signals, diverse technologies), the avoidance of systematic faults in sensor development and an example of safety documentation for a sensor.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 2 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
