The organization can make sure lots of end product identified as potentially unsafe are withdrawn or recalled promptly, by appointing competent people with the authority to start and carry out a withdrawal or recall, and it sets up and keeps documented information for informing the relevant interested parties (authorities, customers, consumers), for handling withdrawn or recalled products and products still held in stock, and for the order in which steps are taken. Withdrawn or recalled products and remaining stock are secured or kept under the organization's control until a disposition is decided. What caused a withdrawal or recall, how far it extended and how it turned out are documented and reported to top management as management review input, and the organization verifies that withdrawals and recalls are carried out and work, for example through mock recalls, and keeps the records.
This control maps to 6 controls across 6 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 6 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
