ISO 22000:2018 4.3: Determining the scope of the food safety management system
To define its scope, the organization determines the boundaries of its FSMS and where it applies. The scope names the products and services, the processes and the production sites covered, and takes in every activity, process, product or service that could affect whether its end products are safe. In setting it, the organization considers the issues identified under 4.1 and the requirements under 4.2. The scope is kept available as maintained documented information.
This control maps to 11 controls across 11 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
