ISO 14001:2015 4.1: Understanding the organization and its context
The organization identifies the internal and external issues that matter to its purpose and that bear on whether its environmental management system can deliver what it is meant to deliver. Among these issues are environmental conditions that the organization affects or that could affect it. Under Amendment 1:2024 the organization also decides whether climate change is a relevant issue.
