IFS Wholesale / Cash & Carry Version 2 4.12: Pest monitoring/pest control

What does 4.12 require?

A pest control system that meets local law and rests on risk assessment defines at least the site surroundings and likely pests, a bait map, bait identification, in-house or external responsibilities, the agents used with their instructions and safety, and inspection frequency. Control is carried out by qualified trained staff or a qualified contractor whose on-site work is set out in a written contract; inspections and resulting measures are documented and effectiveness monitored and recorded; baits, traps and insect killers are sufficient, well placed and built not to contaminate; deliveries are checked for pests on arrival with infestations recorded and acted on; products, equipment and vehicles are stored to keep infestation risk low; and trend analysis tracks how well control works.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 2 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
