Title II: Registration of substances – EU REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006)

EU REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) 7.1: Producers and importers of articles: register substances intended to be released from articles

What does 7.1 require?

A producer or importer of articles must register any substance in those articles that is present at more than one tonne a year in total and is meant to be released when the article is used normally or in ways that can reasonably be foreseen, unless it is already registered for that use. The Agency may also require registration where it suspects that a substance above one tonne is released from articles and that the release presents a risk.
