EU REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) 12: Information requirements by tonnage band, and informing the Agency on reaching the next band

What does 12 require?

The technical dossier must include all relevant and available physicochemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological information and at least the Annex VII information at one tonne or more (or only the Annex VII physicochemical information for existing phase-in substances that meet neither Annex III criterion), Annexes VII and VIII at 10 tonnes or more, plus testing proposals for Annex IX information at 100 tonnes or more and for Annexes IX and X at 1 000 tonnes or more. When a registered substance reaches the next tonnage threshold, the registrant must immediately inform the Agency of the additional information required. The same applies to producers of articles.
