Information on intrinsic properties may be generated by means other than tests where Annex XI conditions are met, and for human toxicity must be generated wherever possible without vertebrate animal tests, using in vitro methods, (Q)SAR models, grouping or read-across. Where tests are needed they follow the Commission test methods regulation or other internationally recognised methods; ecotoxicological and toxicological tests must comply with good laboratory practice and the animal welfare rules. A later registrant may refer to earlier study summaries only if it shows the substance is the same, including purity and impurities, and has the previous registrants' permission.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
