BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 5.1.2: 5.1.2 Formal HACCP approval before new or changed products enter the factory

Before any new product, or any change to a formulation, packaging or process, is brought into the factory, it must receive formal approval from the leader of the HACCP team or another team member with authority, confirming that the hazards have been assessed and HACCP controls put in place.
