Subject to Australian special provision AU01, a package of an environmentally hazardous substance meeting 2.9.3 (UN 3077 or UN 3082) carries the environmentally hazardous substance mark durably: a diamond at least 100 mm square drawn with a 2 mm line, the dead fish and tree symbol in black on white or a contrasting ground, placed next to the shipping name and UN number marks and meeting the general marking quality rules, reduced only where package size requires and the mark stays clearly visible. Danger labels under 5.2.2 apply as well.
