Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties)
Consignment: overpacks, empty packagings, marking and labelling (Chapters 5.1 and 5.2) – Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties)

Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties) 5.2.1.1: Mark each package with the proper shipping name and UN number at the required size

What does 5.2.1.1 require?

Every package displays the proper shipping name determined under 3.1.2 and the UN number prefixed UN. The UN number and prefix are at least 12 mm high, reduced to 6 mm for packages of 30 litres or 30 kg or less and cylinders up to 60 litres water capacity, and of an appropriate size for packages of 5 litres or 5 kg or less; unpackaged articles are marked on the article or its cradle or handling device; Division 1.4S goods also show the division and compatibility group unless the 1.4S label is displayed. Where a size requirement conflicts with Table 5.2, the table prevails.
