A supplier of product related services who becomes aware of a death or serious injury or illness of any person and considers, or learns that another person considers, that it was or may have been caused by use or foreseeable misuse of the consumer goods to which the services relate, must within 2 days give the Commonwealth Minister a written notice identifying the services and the goods and giving, so far as known, when the services were supplied, the circumstances, the nature of the injury or illness and any action taken or intended, subject to the same exceptions as s 131 (clearly or very unlikely caused, or notified under a law specified in reg 92 or a specified industry code).
