Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s125: s 125 Notify overseas recipients of compulsorily recalled goods and copy the notice to the Minister within 10 days

Where consumer goods are recalled under a recall notice, a business that has supplied or supplies them to a person outside Australia must, as soon as practicable after that supply, give the person a written notice stating the goods are recalled and, as applicable, the nature of the defect or dangerous characteristic, the dangerous use or misuse, the non-compliance with a safety standard, and any ban in force; and within 10 days after giving it, give a copy to the Minister who issued the recall notice.
