Australia Reducing Scam Calls and Scam SMs Industry Code (C661:2022) 4.5: Maintain tracing processes and cooperate with other providers

Each C/CSP keeps a process that can trace suspected scam calls to their origin under section 4.4, whether the calls started on its own network or it carried them as a transit or terminating provider. Providers cooperate with one another, within the limits set by the Act's protection-of-communications rules, by its section 313(1) and by Criminal Code section 474.17, to prevent, investigate and mitigate scam calls using their carriage services.
