An apprentice must not be placed on any piece-rate, bonus-on-output or other payment by results system. Apprentices are paid time-based wages under 18.2 and 18.3 (or Schedules G and H), with award allowances at the full rate unless the award says otherwise, so any crew incentive tied to output has to leave apprentices out.
