A PCBU ensures so far as reasonably practicable that a system used for using, handling or storing hazardous chemicals is used only for the purpose it was designed, made, modified, supplied or installed for, and is operated, tested, maintained, installed, repaired and decommissioned with regard to health and safety, with sufficient information, training and instruction for those who operate, test, maintain or decommission it; and that bulk containers and their pipe work and attachments have stable foundations and supports and are secured to prevent movement that could damage them or cause a notifiable incident.
