Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r225: r 225 Scaffolds: completion confirmation, inspections at least every 30 days, repairs and access control

For suspended, cantilevered, spur and hung scaffolds and any scaffold from which a person or thing could fall more than 4 metres, the person with management or control ensures the scaffold is not used until a competent person who has inspected it confirms in writing that construction is complete; that it and its supporting structure are inspected by a competent person before use resumes after an incident that may affect stability, before use resumes after repairs, and at least every 30 days; that necessary repairs are made and it is re-inspected before use resumes where an inspection shows a risk; and that unauthorised access is prevented while it is incomplete or unattended (for example danger tags and signs).
