A supplier of second-hand plant ensures so far as reasonably practicable that faults are identified and, before supply, gives written notice of the plant's condition, the faults and, if appropriate, that it should not be used until they are rectified. Plant supplied for scrap or spare parts is identified, in writing or by marking the plant, as supplied for scrap or spares and not to be used as plant in its current form.
