Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r205-207: rr 205 to 207 Prevent unauthorised alteration; use plant as designed; leave idle plant safe

The person with management or control of plant prevents, so far as reasonably practicable, alterations or interference not authorised by it; takes all reasonable steps to ensure the plant is used only for its designed purpose unless a competent person has assessed that a proposed other use does not increase the risk; takes all reasonable steps to ensure guarding, controls, emergency stops and warning devices are used in accordance with the information and instructions given under r 39; and ensures plant not in use is left in a state that creates no risk.
