Australia Model Code of Practice: Safe Design of Structures 1.2c: 1.2 Clients that commission construction work consult the designer and share site hazard information

A PCBU that commissions construction work on a structure (the client) must, under WHS Regulations Part 6.2, consult the designer so far as reasonably practicable about how to ensure risks arising from the design during construction are eliminated or minimised, and must give the designer any information it holds about the hazards and risks at the site.
