Australia Model Code of Practice: Preparation of Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Chemicals s8-monitoring: Section 8: describe required biological monitoring and safe biological levels with their source, and give enough context for any control banding recommendation

What does s8-monitoring require?

Some chemicals must be biologically monitored, and the SDS should describe the monitoring needed and list known safe biological levels (also called biological limit values or exposure indices) with notations and their source, using the chemical identities from Section 3. Where the SDS recommends control banding (assigning a band, such as good hygiene practice, local exhaust ventilation or enclosure, from the classification and use), it should give enough detail to manage the risk and make the context and limits of the recommendation clear.
