Suspended scaffolds (swing stages, double rope scaffolds, work cages and false cars) should be managed so the working load and specifications meet AS 1576.4; operators are trained in safe operation; people installing or servicing the scaffold hold an advanced rigging or advanced scaffolding high risk work licence, or are enrolled trainees supervised by such a licence holder; every occupant wears a fall arrest harness attached to a suitable anchorage in the swing stage; and the platform stays horizontal when raised or lowered.
