Australia Model Code of Practice: How to Manage Work Health and Safety Risks 1.3: 1.3 Run the risk management process whenever circumstances change

Managing risk is continuing, and the steps should be worked through at identified trigger points: designing or planning products, processes or places used for work; starting, expanding or buying a business; changing work practices, procedures, the work environment, organisational structure or job roles; introducing new or returning workers; buying new or used equipment or substances; taking on a new supplier or commissioner; improving productivity or cutting costs; receiving new information about risks; responding to incidents including those without injury; responding to worker, HSR or other concerns; and when the Regulations require it for specific hazards. The process applies to physical and psychosocial risks.
